What You'll Need
- Administrator access to the Automox console
- An active Automox subscription
- ~3 minutes to complete setup
- Your Clariti account with adapter management permissions
Get Your Credentials
Log in to the Automox console at manage.automox.com. Click on your user avatar in the bottom-left corner and go to Settings > API Keys. Click Generate API Key, give it a name like "Clariti," and copy the key.
Store the API key securely — Automox will not show it again after you navigate away.

Verify Connection
Click Test Connection in Clariti. A successful connection returns a green checkmark. The first data sync typically completes within a few minutes.
Troubleshooting
- 401 Unauthorized — The API key may have been revoked or expired. Generate a new key in the Automox console and update it in Clariti.
- 403 Forbidden — Ensure the account that generated the key has administrator privileges in Automox.
- Timeout — Large device fleets may take longer to sync. Clariti retries automatically.
