What You'll Need
- Administrator access to the Bitdefender GravityZone console
- A GravityZone Business, Advanced, or Elite subscription with API access
- ~5 minutes to complete setup
- Your Clariti account with adapter management permissions
Get Your Credentials
Log in to the Bitdefender GravityZone console. Navigate to Configuration > API in the left sidebar. If the API is not yet enabled, toggle it on.
Click Add to create a new API key. Select the required access level (read access to endpoints and reports is sufficient for Clariti). The console generates an API key — this is your password. Your username is the API key name or the account email associated with the key, depending on your GravityZone version.
Copy both values. The API key acts as the password in the basic authentication flow.
Enter Credentials in Clariti
| Value from vendor console | Paste into Clariti field |
|---|---|
API key name / account email | Username |
API key value | Password |
Verify Connection
Click Test Connection in Clariti. A successful connection returns a green checkmark. The first data sync typically completes within a few minutes.
Troubleshooting
- 401 Unauthorized — Verify the API key value is entered in the Password field and the correct username is used. Regenerate the key if it has been rotated.
- 403 Forbidden — Ensure the API key has at least read permissions for Network, Reports, and Quarantine modules.
- Timeout — Large GravityZone deployments may take longer for initial sync. Clariti retries automatically.
