What You'll Need
- Administrator access to WatchGuard Cloud
- Firebox devices managed through WatchGuard Cloud
- ~5 minutes to complete setup
- Your Clariti account with adapter management permissions
Get Your Credentials
Log in to WatchGuard Cloud at cloud.watchguard.com. Navigate to Administration > API Keys and click Add API Key.
Give the key a descriptive name like "Clariti Integration" and select the appropriate access scope (read-only is sufficient). After creation, WatchGuard Cloud displays a Client ID and Client Secret. Copy both values. You also need your Account ID, which is visible in the WatchGuard Cloud administration section.
Enter Credentials in Clariti

Verify Connection
Click Test Connection in Clariti. A successful connection returns a green checkmark. The first data sync typically completes within a few minutes.
Troubleshooting
- 401 Unauthorized — Verify the Client ID and Client Secret are correct. Regenerate the API key in WatchGuard Cloud if needed.
- 403 Forbidden — Ensure the API key has read access to device and network data. Verify the Account ID matches your WatchGuard Cloud subscription.
- Timeout — WatchGuard Cloud may rate-limit API requests. Clariti retries automatically.
